Reading to children before they begin kindergarten improves reading comprehension and bonding, and leads to developing good reading habits in and out of school.
This month, we will highlight resources, like 1000 Books Before Kindergarten and special storytimes to help you find the best way to read to your children.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten
1000 Books Before Kindergarten is an initiative to read at least 1000 books to your child before they enter Kindergarten. This can seem daunting, but reading one book every day will get you to the goal in less than 3 years! And, of course, books can be repeated.
