station2

Kings Mountain Fire Station 2 - 1207 Shelby Road

A long time dream of the Kings Mountain Fire Department has been Station 2, which was completed and opened in September 2002. The City of Kings Mountain is divided by railroad tracks, which has long hampered some response times to the western part of the City. Station 2 will eliminate those delays as well as decrease response times to assist volunteer mutual aid departments Bethlehem VFD and Oak Grove VFD. Ladder 1 and Engine 282 are the apparatus assigned to Station 2.
